I placed two orders, one with faucetdirect.com and one with build.com not knowing they were the same company. Was notified the order didn't go through because of payment, which I did with Amazon Pay.

Then the second order I did with my actual card. Both wouldn't go through. Their support chat was abysmal and so I called. Spent 2 hours between two reps.

No one could tell me why the payment didn't go through.

I couldn't even use another payment method after the other two failed. Finally I just cancelled the whole thing, went somewhere else and found my item for $30 cheaper.

I ordered a kitchen sink from this company

Because of the kitchen remodelling contractor initial information I had to return a sink and re order the correct part . They debited my account twice for one single item and the refund is still pending eventhought the two other items were returned three weeks ago.

They sent the correct part twice and an incorrect one once. I have made at least six phone calls requesting my refund for the extra debit. Today they notified me that the credit was denied .

I spoke to a supervisor after waiting more than 26 minutes on the phone . She offered to look into the claim and resolve it.Let’s hope it is taken care of.

Last week, I ordered 2 toilet paper ring holders ( thank God they were small items ). The next day, I received an email stating item could not be shipped until 6/26.

I called and cancelled order that same day. I have not been reimbursed. I called today June 12 and they tell me one of items was shipped anyway despite my cancellation. The irony is I wouldn't have cancelled had they told me item would be shipped in a few days.

They say they can not reimburse me yet. I have been on phone for over 1/2 hr.

So now, customer service says he can do nothing at this point and blames Pfizer as they take a long time in responding. he has put in another cancellation request, though but I still can not get my money.

Let this experience serve as a good lesson in why you should not use a debit card or allow someone to debit money from your bank account. When ordering online the only safe way is to use a credit card. What is the attraction to debit cards for some people.

Faucet Direct Shipping Service Review

No customer service at all. Some excuse of it being backed order so next day shipping is from the time it can be optained.

There should be no order placed if the item is backed order. Then they took my 40$ for what i thought i will get it the next day and didnt.

Thete was other companys that i shpuld have gone with but didnt. I wil never shop with this company again ever.

Faucet Direct Buyer Beware

Purchased a sink, never told it was on backorder until days later. Got email to check status, showed it was shipped, but had to call for tracking.

Called, item had not shipped, but still on backorder. Customer service is the worst. Still trying to cancel, but no one can give me a confirmation number to cancel. Emailed supposedly someone who I could escalate issue to and have not heard back from anyone.

Should have ordered directly from Ferguson. Still in limbo and have no idea what is going on with my order.

They want your money and don't give a *** after that.

No tub, but money taken out of my account. TWICE !

I ordered a $600 Kohler tub with my Canadian Mastercard. I received e-mail that my order was cancelled because they did not like my credit card, however they managed to get $600 from my M/C account.

After I called them, they credited the $600 to my account. I lost about $40 on the exchange rate to Canadian dollars and back again for no reason.

I then reordered the tub with my Bank of America credit card and they immediately took $600 out of my bank account. Then they sent me an e-mail that the tub was no longer available. I called again and they said they already credited my B of A account.

It took 6 days to get my money back. What kind of company takes your money when they have no product. Maybe this is the way FaucetDirect maintains its cash-flow!

I will never use this company again. I do not recommend FaucetDirect.com!

Faucet Direct. com - Unsatisfied customer - Buyers Beware

I ordered a part for my Jacuzzi tub from the Faucet Direct website. It was one screw up after another.

The website confirmed that the part is available and will be sent to me via next day delivery. I never got a UPS shipping number which got me curious. I called their customer service line the same day and based on the information that I got from one of their customer service staff, he called Jacuzzi and confirmed that the part is being sent out next day shipping and told me not to worry. After two days I received nothing so I called the customer service line again.

This time I got another customer service staff member and according to him the part was backed ordered and won't be available for shipping for 10 days. If the part is backed ordered then why didn't Faucet Direct informed me in the first place? I waited 10 days and finally the part was shipped. But another screw up happened.

Instead of sending the part next day, they sent it out ground which seriously delayed my project. Faucet Direct offered a discount for future purchase but never offered to discount the Jacuzzi part that I purchased even after all the aggravation and inconvenience. There was no remorse from the customer service manager what so ever. This is how they do their business.

Don't trust their website, it's never accurate. Save yourself some aggravation and go to another supplier.

Can not get credit for a return

I purchased over $3000. in faucets and other bathroom fixtures.

I accidently ordered two toilet bowls when I actually only needed one. totally my fault. I paid return shipping of $54.70 again totally my deal. The return has been sitting with faucets direct over a month with no credit ($305.) made to me.

After several calls, all they will tell me is that is under investigation. What is the big deal, I returned something, give me credit.

Faucet direct does not have a no hassle return policy. When it comes time to pay my credit card bill, I really don't want to pay the extra $305.

Sorry to hear some had a bad experience with faucetdirect.com. Doing a complete renovation on (2) bathrooms so needed to order a lot of fixtures (plumbing, lighting) and a vanity (complete with sinks and fixtures).

Frankie R. was great in answering all my questions (I had a lot) and making sure we were ordering the correct items. 99% of the order was received within a week (still waiting for 1 more item but I knew it would not be shipping right away). Items have no visible damage.

Will update this review once reno begins and items installed.

But as of now, I am a satisfied customer!

All of our fixtures for our new custom home from FaucetDirect.com

We ordered all of our faucets, commodes, bath vanities from FaucetDirect. We save many $$$$.

Our deliveries were on time and some even before the specified time. We have vanities on their way, after being back ordered. Customer service was excellent. All our questions answered accurately.

This company is the best. Do not be discouraged by one unhappy customer.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. If something arrives that you do not want, simply refuse it and a credit is issued by FaucetDirect, no questions asked.

I am sure, even with the best company once in a while things can go wrong. With FaucetDirect this is not the case.

Lied about shipping multiple times

I ordered a bathtub from Faucet Direct on October 3rd. It was a special order item and required 8-12 weeks for delivery.

I received an email that it would be delivered January 4. I received several subsequent emails pushing the date back further and further. Finally I called and asked why they keep pushing the date back and was told that if a product does not come in they automatically do that. Apparently the dates in their emails have no relationship to actual delivery dates.

That was bad enough but since then I have been told by a customer service representative on three separate occasions that the tub was "on the truck" and I should be getting tracking information shortly. I just received another email and delivery has been pushed back to another random date (February 11th). The product has not shipped despite their representations to the contrary. Do not use this store!

Their customer service is not only poor, they just make things up. This is the last item needed for my new house and will cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars to have tile, plaster, and plumbing contractors remobilize to install this tub after the completion of all other construction.

In a brand new custom home this was my only complaint and not coincidentally the only thing I did not source locally. Spend the extra few dollars and buy local from somebody who actually cares about their customer.

Received Broken Faucet

We paid $300.- + for a faucet from Faucet Direct. The Holidays caused shipping delays, not Fuacet Direct's fault.

Kitchen has ben without running water for the last two weeks. Took the day off of work today to be at the house for the plumber. Once the plumber arrived, he looked at the faucet and promptly told me he could not install the faucet as is. He pointed out the faucet was damaged and broken, the spout was broken off from body of faucet.

Had to call Faucet Direct to have them ship another faucet.

Now our kitchen will be without water another 5- 7 days. Completely pissed off.

Build.com/faucets direct

I have, unfortunately had a bad experience with Build.com/Faucets direct and I want people to know. Lisa Marie Thomas, although very nice & seemingly helpful on the phone, she deceived me where my order shipping was concerned.

I was assured that I would receive my order by a certain date, and did not. When I called to inquire about said order, I was told something completely different and not even close to what she shared with me. Of course when I was able to speak with Lisa Marie; it wasn't her fault, not the answer I was hoping to hear.

I feel that she told me what I wanted to hear so that I would place my order. I will not order from Faucets direct or Build.com in the future.

No customer service

The medicine cabinet I ordered from Faucet Direct was received in poor condition which WAS NOT caused by shipping. The seams had four separate long chips and the mirror glazing was missing in several spots on the mirror.

There was also a long flaw on the inside shelf of the cabinet. When I contacted Faucet Direct I was not even offered a solution to this problem. I was told I would have to contact DecoLav (the maker of product) directly.

I ordered this cabinet from Faucet Direct and expect service after the sale from them. I will NEVER order from them again!

Submitted debit for product on back order from manufacturer.

I placed an order from FaucetDirect.com and provided my Visa debit card information. I didn't receive an acknowledgement from them within 2 days so I contacted them by phone.

I was advised that the product I ordered was on back order from the manufacturer so I requested the order to be cancelled, as I cannot live without a kitchen faucet for approximately 3 weeks. I then received an email from Faucet Direct stating "This is not an official cancellation notice. This is only a request to cancel.". FaucetDirect had already submitted info to my bank as a completed sale and the amount was deducted from my checking account, but THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE FAUCET SET IN STOCK!

After 3 phone calls, I did receive an email from them stating the amount deducted from checking account "will be credited to your account within 7 business days". I am pissed!

The same has happened to me. I ordered a shower system costing hundreds of dollars on 2/21/13.

They immediately withdrew the amount from my account, only to be mislead on the shipping date for months!!

I still have not received anything, despite having contacted them multiple times. I have now requested that they cancel the order and refund my money immediately, but I assume that this will also not happen.
